About Us

Initially founded in 1986 by a coalition of churches, Interfaith Housing Coalition’s mission is “to be the hands of Christ transitioning families to self-sufficiency and new hope.” IHC is one of the few Dallas area organizations exclusively dedicated meeting the needs of working poor families who have experienced a housing crisis. While IHC is a faith-based nonprofit organization, we are committed to serving all families of any faith (or no faith at all) through three holistic programs: Home & Hope Transitional Housing Program, EQUIP Homelessness Prevention Program, and the Children & Teen’s Program. These three programs collectively serve approximately 220 families per year.
