Interfaith Housing Coalition announces Service King Collision Repair Center as lead Corporate Sponsor

Interfaith Housing Coalition (IHC) announces Service King Collision Repair Centers as their lead corporate sponsor for 2011-2012. Service King has supported IHC in the past through Christmas Toy Store donations, the Recycled Rides program and this year, IHC was chosen as the main beneficiary of Service King’s annual charity golf tournament. In support of IHC’s 25^th Anniversary, Service King has issued a $50,000 challenge gift to encourage local Dallas businesses to become IHC’s financial and employment partners. IHC CEO, Kimberly Williams said, “We are grateful for Service King’s partnership and generosity. Service King is just as committed to rebuilding lives as they are to repairing cars and it shows by the way they give their time, resources and now, access to employment opportunities for those in need. They are truly making a difference in our community. ”

Interfaith Housing Coalition is one of the few Dallas area organizations that exclusively serve working poor families who are experiencing a housing crisis. IHC has one of Dallas’s most effective accountability-driven transitional housing and homelessness prevention program. IHC has recently concluded its 25^th year of service and IHC has launched its 25^th Anniversary Celebration Campaign which will raise funds to enhance its programs such as career services, end its use of federal funding, and implement a three-year graduate self-sufficiency study.    

Service King Collision Repair Centers, a Dallas-based corporation has been in operation for 35 years and has 47 offices across Texas. Service King is a philanthropic corporation with nine Dallas nonprofits receiving support each year. Service King was recently voted 2^nd in the “Best Places to Work” in Dallas-Fort Worth.
